N.E.E. (EXHIBITION ELECTRICS) LIMITED – TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • All prices include electricity consumed and stand-by electrician during the event.
  • Any Exhibitor who makes arrangements for their stand to be wired by any other than the official Electrical contractor must ensure that the installation is carried out by a contractor who is a member of the National Inspection Council for Electrical installation Contracting or J.I.B. NEE reserves the right to inspect their enrolment number.
  • We reserve the right to refuse to connect to the supply any faulty equipment or wiring. Any work carried out on equipment to bring it to the required standard will be chargeable on a time and materials basis.
  • It is strictly understood that ONE item of equipment only is plugged into the socket and the wattage of that equipment is equal to the wattage size of the socket ordered. Adapters are not permitted.
  • Exhibitors using pre-wired or mobile stands, including caravans, must take into account he full load of its appliances. On no account must the connected load exceed the size of the supply requested. All mobile units must arrive on site fitted with a 30mA RCD trip switch and carry a current electrical test certificate.
  • Any Exhibitor making connections themselves to the network or multiple connection from one stand to another stand holder will be immediately cut off from the original supply point and service denied to them.
  • Orders received or amended later than one week prior to the first day of the event will not be carried out until after completion of orders received prior to this date.
  • Complaints with regard to the services provided must be submitted in writing during the open period of the event. This will ensure that they are fully investigated on site.

NO LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS CAN BE ACCEPTED UNLESS THIS CONDITION IS COMPLIED WITH

  • Cancellation of orders must be submitted in writing. Where written cancellation is received later than one week prior to the start of build-up the services ordered will be charged that the full rate as the work is prepared in advance.
  • We reserve the right to disconnect and remove to the Organiser’s Office any appliance which is faulty and without a current PAT Certificate.
  • We shall not be held responsible for the loss of power due to faulty appliances tripping the main RCD device.
  • Supply of electricity will be available to stands from midday on the day prior to the event and continuing until the official closure of the event. However, should this not be possible for any reason NEE cannot be held responsible and will not accept any claims for loss of earnings or otherwise. For generator network shows please see Event Manual for running times. Any Exhibitor requiring electricity prior to the set times are advised to contact NEE main office for advice.
  • Please attach detailed sketch showing positions of points and wattage of sockets on your stand. Unless this is supplied we cannot guarantee positions of points. Alterations arising from lack of a definitive drawing may result in further charges.
  • No work will be carried out unless payment is submitted with the order form.

CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT

  • Connections to the mains will be made when all conditions of the electrical schedule are fulfilled.
  • If by reason of Forse Majeure, labour difficulties or shortage of materials of any cause outside the control of NEE or NEE is unable to provide all or any of the services ordered by the customer during the whole or part of the duration of the exhibition, the customer’s rights shall be limited to the return of a corresponding proportion of the charge paid by him for such services.
  • NEE, it’s employees or agents or their employees, will not be liable for damage to property of death or injury to persons by or in any way connected with the services to be provided, except only where such damage or death or injury is occasioned by the negligence of NEE, it’s Employees o it’s Agent or their Employees
  • On no account will NEE be liable for any direct or indirect consequential loss suffered by the customer howsoever caused.
